ROLE SUMMARY


As an Associate Product Manager you will work closely with engineers and lean into the delivery component of product management. You will be the product owner of your domain and provide support to the engineering team while delivering cross-functional value to stakeholders. You are expected to be driven, self-sufficient and organized. You understand that accurate data flowing through our platform prevents future pain. You proactively communicate when a problem arises, so you can put your head down to address the issue. You collaborate with warmth and positivity. Empathy guides your decision making. And, you are comfortable being direct so we take action and adapt to do the right thing.


This role is open to remote candidates in the US.


You report to the Director of Product, Enterprise who works remotely in Eastern Time. LeaseLock is headquartered in Marina Del Rey, CA and with core working hours in Pacific Time.


RESPONSIBILITIES — You will:


  • You will be a Product Manager within our Enterprise Systems team supporting the development of our Salesforce Platform. You will work with either a team of Salesforce Engineers or backend engineers.
  • You will be responsible for creating functional and nonfunctional requirements as well as acceptance criteria. You will be expected to learn your domain and become a subject matter expert. You will know the in and outs of your product and understand the impacts of the solutions that you design and deliver.
  • Create a strong working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders, product managers and engineers to gain alignment and keep communication fluid.
  • Own the E2E product lifecycle from discovery and documentation through delivery and status updates.
  • Dig into and learn the system capabilities and restrictions; identify gaps and optimize processes to allow the company to scale.
  • Manage and prioritize the team's backlog; ensure the company and team’s goals, NSO’s and product roadmap are being considered.
  • Review tickets from stakeholders, perform root cause analysis, and determine priority.
  • Surface qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision making and measure the impact of the work delivered by the team.
  • Host recurring “office hours” to demo new releases and discuss feature prioritization.
  • Run weekly sprint planning meetings.


QUALIFICATIONS — You have:


  • Experience as a product manager or business analyst or other technical position
  • Managed a key business process with measurable results
  • Triaged feature requests and bug fixes to balance short-term wins with long-term gains
  • Written SQL queries and worked with self-serve data tools
  • Presented technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Triaged data integrity requests; balanced triage against long-term strategic vision
  • Respect for the compliance and security requirements of a tightly regulated industry like insurance or finance.
  • Integrated systems via API and flat-file data exchanges (Preferred)
  • Empowered Engineers to find creative solutions that minimize technical debt and expedite delivery (Preferred)
  • Experience with systems that manage ledgers or financial transactions and legal paperwork (like property management systems that manage leases, rent payments, and other charges) (Preferred)
  • Experience in the insurance, finance or multi-family industry (Preferred)


INTERVIEW PROCESS


All interviews will be conducted remotely through video conference. After an intro call with a recruiter, you will interview the hiring manager and up to 3 additional interviews with product and engineering. Interviews can be split across multiple days. You may have a chance to meet with the CEO and founder of LeaseLock before receiving an offer.
