Scope and Purpose of Position:
The role of the Solution Architect is charged with converting predetermined elements into a design used by architects as a blueprint.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal associates to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve
  • Designing, architect, development and implements various algorithms to build advanced analytics solutions and POCs for global customer base, including Time Series analysis, Recommendation, Fraud Detection, smart meter data Analysis and Real Time Predicative analysis, migration from one technology to other technology to enhanced performance across business.
  • New and existing software maintenance.
  • Architect to design the existing platform integrated with various compatibility with other third party vendors and business use cases.
  • Translate requirements into programming specifications.
  • Code and test program changes, created or installed.
  • Publishing giant performed Cloud strategy and project level analysis to determine path forward for Predictive Maintenance product and general Data Analytics as a Service environment.
  • Play the role in Technology Selection, Metrics and Management Recommendations.
  • Software evaluation matrix for all competitive vendors in BigData Hadoop/AWS/Azure enterprise solution.
  • Perform the role of project leader when needed.
  • Interface with external customers whenever needed.
  • Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
  • Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals.
  • This is in addition to, the completion of any activities necessary for the maintenance of professional affiliations or organizational requirements.
Education and Experience

  • Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience using RESTful web APIs and application
  • Experience in software engineering and design architecture
  • Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level
  • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
  • Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software
  • Extremely comfortable with understanding and implementing client-side handlers for web services with REST services at the backend
  • Experience with agile software development and the ability to rapidly iterate in a dynamic environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to apply standards and processes
  • Self-motivated, strong delivery focus, and ability to work well within a team
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
