A Sales Engineer at Nuvalence will help with all aspects of the sales process. This includes helping grow the pipeline, demonstrations, working with clients on the various offerings, building new offerings, implementing and executing. They are tasked to combine their technical knowledge with sales skills.

We like the type of Sales Engineer that supports the Senior Leadership in securing new work to add to our portfolio of clients. This individual will provide overall support for the success of new accounts.

AS A NUVALENCE TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

  • Understand and articulate Nuvalence’s overall business capabilities and offerings

  • Help build Sales Strategy, pipelines, sales goals and offerings

  • Earn and build trust with our clients to enable long term relationships

  • Develop new offerings to enhance our catalog of products

  • Contribute to the growth of our evolving business by actively participating in team meetings and work groups

  • Execute over the sales process; initial meeting, demos, implementation and delivery

  • Work with marketing to develop collateral that increases the sales pipeline (Blog posts, one pagers, etc.)


TECHNICAL REQUIRMENTS:

  • Self and quick learner, regardless of the languages and technologies used

  • Team player

  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

  • Bonus if you have at least 12+ months of backend or frontend software development work experience

  • Bonus if you have experience with Java (SpringBoot), Node or React and .NET

  • Bonus if you have experience with unit testing / TDD

  • Experience building solutions using Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)

  • Must have a solid understanding of custom application development, delivery, and business development

  • Experience dealing with both business and IT execs and others in an organization is preferred

  • The talent to navigate both business and technical discussions as needed to close a deal is a must

  • Experience Creating Supporting Commercial documents such as Proposals, offering overviews and Statements of work is required

  • Fearless in getting “hands-on” with technology and execution

  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering processes

  • Deep understanding and interest in cloud and distributed systems architectures

  • Comfortable with ambiguity with a drive for clarity

  • Experience leading and growing technical talent (for software engineering managers)
