The IT Support Manager collaborates with other management and non-management staff to determine and implement specific technical needs and priorities of the organization. This position will oversee one or more information technology (IT) positions and they will be responsible for maintaining a dynamic knowledge base of technical solutions to ensure that the organization's IT infrastructure is as efficient and productive as possible.

Supervisory Responsibilities

IT/IS Support Team

Duties & Responsibilities

Analyzes software and hardware needs for the organization.
Oversees and facilitates the installation and maintenance of IT systems, hardware, and software.
Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to hardware and software, maintaining efficient and effective operations in the organization.
Asset management for all IT/IS-related equipment from hire to termination.
Facilitates and oversees the technical support and helpdesk roles, ensuring effective and helpful support is provided to end users.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in information technology, alerting senior staff of the effects widespread software and hardware revisions, changes, and discontinuation will have on the organizations systems and operations.
Coordinates and schedules large-scale software and hardware installations.
Ensures IS-related projects and tasks are completed within specifications, on time, and within budget.
Train staff, both management and non-management, as necessary.
Document processes for ongoing training and development.
Attend all applicable meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
At least five years of related experience; Supervisory experience helpful.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15-50 pounds at times.
Travel, if necessary.
