The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) plays a pivotal role, leading as the primary contact within the organization as a liaison with the company and all assigned clients. This position interfaces regularly with operations, technology and legal to ensure client deliverables and projects are on time, meet all quality standards, and quality expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with clients and their advisors, exemplifying mutual respect, professionalism, and high-quality product.
  • Engage regularly with the client, client representatives, advisors, and partners, ensuring needs and expectations are managed and met.
  • Clearly communicate and document the status of projects and/or initiatives.
  • Schedule regular, well-informed conversations with the Client (or their designees).
  • Review and discuss status, issues, transactions, concerns, and opportunities.
  • Manage specific questions regarding all company and client engagements.
  • Facilitate client meetings, including documentation maintenance, recording action items, publishing post-meeting updates, and communicating action items to internal team members.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction meets or exceeds established objectives.
  • Manage the creation of Project Plans to ensure that all deliverables are properly assigned and that modifications requested by client are incorporated into the project plan.
  • Internal standards and workflow adherence to monitor the success of client projects remain timely and within budget from a resource utilization perspective.
  • Identify developmental opportunities or areas requiring additional resources or focus within the organization.
  • Execute tasks and responsibilities assigned to you in the project plan within designated timelines.
  • Engage in Strategy discussions with partners and clients as needed.

  • Learn and manage client accounts within a short timeframe.
  • Creative thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to do necessary research to support new ideas or concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex matters in simple terms.
  • Willingness and desire to understand the technical details and intricacies of the organization.
  • Office 365 knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database is beneficial.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • At least five years of related experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift 15-25 pounds at times.
