Lambda School is looking for its first Blockchain Subject Matter Expert / Instructor to help develop and launch curriculum for the new blockchain program! This will initially start as a contract role for approximately 3 weeks at approximately 20 hours/week to help scope our curriculum and develop the first project for our learners.

The ideal candidate would want to form a relationship with Lambda School and work with us on additional curriculum projects and also teach the course when we launch.

What you'll do:

    • Write starter code for projects and lessons for the learners
    • Work with the curriculum developer to write lesson plans
    • Deliver lessons and host office hours for the first cohort of the program
    • Provide feedback to students on their projects
    • Deliver feedback from the students to the management team

What you'll need:

    • Significant experience developing smart contracts and decentralized applications on the ethereum blockchain
    • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a novice; strong empathy for learners
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Self-starting with the ability to effectively work autonomously with little oversight
