Job Summary

Responsible for continuous upkeep and maintenance of our current Salesforce environment. This position will require consistent contact with all relevant stakeholders to guarantee all changes are within the best practice standards in the Salesforce environment. A basic understanding of custom development in the APEX environment will also be a necessity. Full knowledge of the CPQ framework is required.

Job Responsibilities

This job involves full responsibility over the maintenance, standardization, and stability of our current Salesforce instance. Used to manage potential and existing clients alike, our Salesforce instance handles everything from first contact to order & payment, renewal, and beyond. This person will have the responsibility of maintaining consistency throughout business process changes, and performing best practice updates and optimizations to the current workflow.

In this position, you will interface with upper management, sales, and other stakeholders, collecting the needs for each change, and training on the correct use case for any and all major changes. You will also provide operational support for the overall data pipeline, as well as the analytics infrastructure.

It will fall within the responsibility of this role to also complete internal system audits, as well as prepare for upgrades. You will manage security access roles, managing as-needed access to users per predefined protocols. General knowledge of Apex, VisualForce, and the Restful/SOAP API’s will be a necessity, allowing ease of transition between both external systems and internal processes alike.

Required / Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with all aspects of the Salesforce Environment
  • At least 3 years of relevant Salesforce administration experience
  • At least 1 year of general Salesforce development experience, through Apex and/or interactions with the REST/SOAP API’s
  • Proficiency in the ability to provide training and support to individuals and large groups alike
  • One or more certifications through the salesforce trailhead pathway, such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, SCA, Could Consultant, etc (Strongly recommended)
  • Extensive knowledge of the CPQ and Salesforce Billing landscapes
  • Familiarity in Salesforce best practices for medium-scale organizations
  • Proficient technical writing abilities, to provide documentation of various procedures and protocols

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience.

This is a remote position that offers a salary range of $85,000-$95,000.
