In financial services, it is critical that team members are knowledgeable and able to find answers quickly to the questions they encounter as they serve our members. That’s why we are seeking a Learning Content Specialist to equip our team with the knowledge they need to perform their jobs well. Your work will ensure that our team members are confident in their roles, and that they can address our members’ needs timely, accurately, completely, and compliantly.
As our Learning Content Specialist, you will partner with business unit leaders to understand the learning priorities for each team, and then create, curate, and maintain knowledge assets to meet those needs. The mission of the Learning Content Specialist is to continually enhance the credit union’s ability to provide clear, accurate, and current guidance for team members.
Collaborate. You will work with business unit leaders to identify and understand the learning needs of the department, and then determine the best method to address those needs.
- Curate. You will curate and adapt knowledge assets from third parties, such as those available through vendor relationships, industry associations, and private training providers.
- Create. You will also use your skills to create and maintain custom knowledge assets, such as articles, PowerPoint presentations, and video tutorials.
- Administrate. You will ensure compliance with required annual training by maintaining Amplify’s Learning Management System.
If you have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in business writing, marketing communications, instructional content creation and/or technical writing, we encourage you to apply.
Software & Equipment Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. In addition, you should have or be capable of quickly gaining proficiency in the types of technologies commonly used in the role, such as content management systems and editing tools, basic video editing software, remote presentation platforms, and others.
Excellent writing skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and fulfill objectives, both independently and as part of a team
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and provide appropriate communication solutions
Demonstrated success synthesizing complex information into clear and engaging editorial content
Strong attention to detail
Experience in video editing and/or production
What We Offer
Amplify's corporate offices are located in Austin, TX at Parmer Lane and MoPac Expressway (Loop 1), but we can meet you where you are since this position is eligible to work on a 100% remote basis from any of the following states:

This is a salaried position and pay will be commensurate with experience within the following range: $64,638 - $90,000/year.
