Job Description:

We are looking for an agile, digital-first problem solver who’s skilled at UX writing and content strategy, and is passionate about providing streamlined, simple digital experiences for customers.

The Team

As a member of the Content team, you’ll use your content and design skills – coupled with the latest insights and analytics – to create best-in-class mobile trading experiences for our active and emerging investors. In this role, you’ll lead the content strategy for digital experiences that guide customers through researching, trading, and monitoring in our flagship mobile app, and builds confidence while doing so.

You’ll review and improve our existing experiences, identify information gaps, and write new content for trading experiences, webpages, communications, and in-context help.

You’ll also play a meaningful role in championing and maintaining content strategy standards that give our clients confidence and make their interactions with us effortless!

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital content design, writing/blogging, content strategy, and/or digital communications
    • Financial services experience, a plus
  • Experience with Agile principles, a plus

  • You’re an expert at understanding the audience and can capture the voice of investors of all ages to help them understand and relate to trading and investing topics.
  • You read complex ideas and can instantly find ways to make them simpler.
  • You’re proficient in crafting content that follows brand standards, optimized for search, shareable on social media, data-driven and ready for mobile.
  • You’re comfortable defending your content decisions with executives and legal types and can negotiate edits with diplomacy and an open mind.
  • You’re fun, smart, creative, flexible, and love working as part of a team. You’re willing to jump into different roles as the job requires and have an eye to the future of digital content design.

The Value You Deliver

  • Driving the content strategy, content creation, and standards that are essential in helping clients complete transaction flows and make product decisions
  • Understanding customer needs to identify problems and appropriate solutions
  • Collaborating with designers, researchers, developers, and other partners to write and test user-focused content that guides clients through an experience, while maintaining Fidelity’s tone and voice
  • Serving as the voice of the customer, advocating for content-led experiences driven by customer needs to create cohesive experiences across channels
  • Driving a test, learn, and optimize the approach to content development where you’ll make data-driven decisions on the topics, tone, language, and delivery of content
