- Lead a team of software engineers by assisting with their professional and technical development.
- Participate as a member of a product team.
- Write clean, modular, performant, well tested code.
- Assist in defining coding standards and guidelines for developers to follow.
- Participate in code review as part of a thorough, PCI-compliant SDLC.
- Provide constant feedback to engineers via 1-1’s.
- Complete performance evaluations as specified by HR and assist in an employee’s improved performance or their departure.
- Set a positive example for others to follow - you will always be on stage and your behavior will set a standard.
- Grow the engineering team by participating in the interview and hiring process.
- Foster an environment with a high degree of trust and transparency.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RabbitMQ, NoSQL databases, Docker, Microservices architecture are a plus.
- Experience with technologies including but not limited: NodeJS, React, React Native, Express, TypeScript, webpack, restful APIs.
- Experience with CSS and CSS extensions such as SASS.
- Hard-working critical thinker who can communicate clearly to various partners.
- Proven project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the organization's business strategy and the rationale behind it.
