Note: This is NOT an internship for beginner level Game Artist or Programmers. Your skill set will need to be intermediate or higher.

Previous Simulation Game Artist/Designer/Programmer internship is preferred.


Who We Are:

Alexis Day Agency is a boutique Brand Design agency based in Los Angeles seeking a highly creative, visually innovative and forward-thinking Game Artist/Designer/Programmer intern. In this internship role, you will help create concepts and assets for a simulated atmosphere for high-end brands. Ideal candidate loves designing virtual simulated atmospheres. We are looking for an innovative artist with a unique, clean and realistic design style, and who loves a challenge and to be different.

ATTENTION: This internship is not for beginner designers. You must be at an intermediate level or higher. You will be working on a new and very unique project that requires Game Artist, Game Designer, Programmer, coding, rendering, and animation experience. This project will add an uncommon piece of work for your portfolio that no one else will have in the competitive gaming marketplace.

On a day-to-day basis you will get to do the following:


  • Provide concepts and storyboards for in-development game mechanics and features.
  • Be able to lead the look/feel, development, and conceptual process for new game like ideas
  • Manage full art cycle from pre-production to post-production
  • Build and create game assets up to the high standards required by the end user.
  • Participate in visual critiques and brainstorms.


  • 2+ years of experience as a game designer or game artist
  • Experience in development, animating and producing production art for mobile game-like simulation from background, characters, UI and marketing material.
  • Attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and a desire to get things done.
  • Must have your own computer with access to the latest design software.
  • Able to work remotely very dependable, reliable and maturely.
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Take direction and constructive critiquing well
  • Self-starter, take initiative, require minimal supervision
  • Well as work well in a creative team environment
  • Have a no task too small attitude


  • Work directly with company CEO, as well as work on your own remotely.
  • Brainstorming with other designers and marketing interns as needed.
  • Your work will be seen in over 70 countries and showcased through an award-winning luxury lifestyle publication, used by affluent end users, if work is selected.

  • College Senior, College Grad or Grad Student with a 3.4 GPA or higher ONLY.
  • Must have or are completing an Associates degree or higher in Gaming, Computer Science, or related field.


College Credit, unpaid internship

  • **Commission Payment offered on applicable approved and completed design work
  • Our design projects help build competitive portfolios.

Internship Hours:

Must be able to intern a minimum of 20 hours 3-5 days a week with a 4 months commitment.

Internship Work Schedule:

  • You will create your schedule to accommodate your work and/or school class schedule

*Internship schedule must be the same every week.
