We are a growing, busy web agency looking to hire an account manager to help us scale! Your daily tasks will include leading your team, optimizing processes, communicating with clients, and strategizing about various projects .
People skills are a must, and while this is a remote position 9-5pm PST availability is required.
Some web design or coding experience is necessary. You need to know how to build a website. It would likely not be part of your job description (besides occasional small edits), but having a good understanding of design and code will help you take over this role since you would be the middle person between clients and designers/developers and you need to be able to help them process the information. You know what HTML/CSS/JS are and you can probably code in the first two, but maybe not the third. You know how to make small edits in Photoshop layers.
Experience with project management tools such as Basecamp or Trello is a plus.
We already have plans in place of how to bring in more business, but the first step is to bring more great people that will not only manage the workload but also improve the existing processes so that we can become more efficient. Creativity and problem solving are great attributes and we'd love to work with someone that has both.
