What you will do here:

As the Product Owner – Partner Experience, you will be a vital and trusted liaison between Companion Protect’s technology division and our business channels. You will ensure our customers are able to engage with our products through a variety of channels, leaning heavily on your expertise of the customer and user experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of channels including our technical, marketing, UX, QA and Agile development teams!

You will develop and execute a roadmap of product solutions to delivery carrier-grade experiences through new capabilities and features. You will be responsible for supporting all experience-related business KPI’s through investment and creative use of our technology platforms. Lastly, you will drive the usage of various technologies to realize the organizations return on investment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help craft the Product Development framework, through partnering with Product and Technology leadership to build a Product-led development structure, informed by the user experience.
  • Develop meaningful and measurable KPIs which enable engagement and optimization of user experiences and inform the Product Development strategy and priority
  • Develop and manage the relationship between IT Product Teams and internal and external users (business channels, service providers). For each business channel, understand the vision and goals of each and develop strategies and annual plans to meet those goals.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders needs and expectations are met and promote transparency though effective communications
  • Partner with management, stakeholders, and project teams to prioritize requirements and needs
  • Develop recommendation(s) for joint or coordinated application project delivery across business channels in collaboration with others.
  • Create key functionality that meets the product's KPIs to increase current customer base and quality
  • Define roadmaps creating epics and user stories that meet business goals and customer needs
  • Ensure user stories are ready for development work, including clear and measurable acceptance criteria
  • Align budgetary investments to achieve maximum return for the business group
  • Provide support and solutions for the integration of individual systems as well as to ensure a level of interoperability when required.
  • Lead the team using an Agile framework to deliver an iterative program with continuous business value delivery to ensure the highest level of success for all projects
  • Create regular project progress reports covering accomplishments, schedule performance, cost performance, and measured business outcomes for all projects
  • Generate corrective actions and prioritize into the backlog along with business improvement user stories
  • Contribute to the development of strategic frameworks for IT products, services, technologies, and support; develop strategic directions and alternative service delivery options, develop IT business and operation plans, provide technical advice, impact analysis, and recommendations to management.
  • Researches, designs, plans and initiates new or enhanced IT services; identifies/solicits and evaluates business requirements, or responds to client requests; and manages the information architectural design
  • Responsible for managing vendor support staff to resolve product support issues.
  • Responsible for monitoring and approving work upon completion and ensure deliverables are met.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years in a Product-led organization, serving as a Product Owner or strategist
  • 5 + years’ experience working with Product-led Technology teams
  • Deep understanding of LEAN Product Development methodologies
  • Experienced in identifying user and business needs, envisioning solutions, and translating those requirements to project and technology teams.


  • Bachelors or Advanced Degree a plus


  • Demonstrated ability to implement big-picture strategies through Product development.
  • Demonstrated experience in building Business and Technology credibility with supporting team members and internal and external customers
  • Strong desire for team success.
