Streamline Media Group is hiring for this exciting new position to help shape the direction of our latest video games. Blending your abilities to gather industry and product insights and trends, and to conduct thorough research, you will prepare and present reports on your findings to the CEO, Marketing, and Publishing teams and inform our Product development decisions. The ideal candidate is methodical, and data-driven, with a knack for discovering patterns and identifying future trends with a passion for setting precedent. Once products have been greenlit, you will assist to direct product development and ensure a high return on investment (ROI). You’ll be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales.

For this role, you will be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like email campaigns and pricing strategies. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products. You’ll translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish. To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive and creative leader and a reliable unbiased problem-solver. If you’re also confident and have a knack for knowing what ideas will and won’t work, we’d like to meet you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform valid and reliable market research, SWOT analysis, competitor research, pricing/business models, product positioning
  • Consolidate information into actionable items, reports, presentations, recommendations
  • Stay up to date with video games and tech industry market trends, events, activations, and marketing campaigns
  • Study company products
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching) consistent with company vision
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
  • Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
  • Test marketing product features, releases and ad copy
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
  • Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Brand Manager or similar role in tech, creative, or games field
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, Hubspot)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience in product lifecycle management
  • Experience in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Experience in games or tech industry preferred
