About The Role

Commons Clinic is looking for a talented and passionate growth leader to build our acquisition funnel for consumers & physicians.

Who are you?

You are a technical Growth leader who lives and breathes SEO, lead gen, and newsletters. You are an experienced tactician who understands the ins and outs of acquiring healthcare consumers. You are an experienced strategist and storyteller who understands high performing content and the importance of the product experience. You embrace ambiguity and are eager to navigate the intricate healthcare advertising policy landscape to devise creative solutions for difficult problems. You are equally excited about the “work” as you are about building and mentoring a world class editorial and SEO team.

As our first growth hire you’ll also have the opportunity to shape the foundations of team structure and processes, and you’ll serve as an advocate for growth-focused thinking to the wider company. What You Will Do

  • Lead patient acquisition at Commons by building multi-channel marketing strategies across organic, owned and paid channels that allow us to hit aggressive growth targets.
  • Partner with clinical, product and engineering to generate data-driven hypotheses, run experiments and A/B tests that allow us to measure and improve customer booking flows.
  • Work with our clinical team to develop and optimize high-quality content that drives meaningful growth.
  • Develop our long-term growth strategy roadmap prioritizing initiatives using market research, user research and data.
  • Evangelize a true growth-first mentality at Commons.
  • Scale new channels that generate patients in our hardest-to-reach demographics that don’t respond well to digital marketing (e.g. Seniors).
  • Oversee the development and refinement of dashboards and reports that allow us to track and measure campaign performance and make data driven decisions.
  • Recruit and hire additional talent as we build our growth team.

About You

  • At least 5+ years in a growth, acquisition, performance marketing, or monetization role in consumer or healthcare.
  • Experience with customer research, segmentation, brief writing and creative development.
  • Strong background in A/B testing, experiment design, data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience using web analytics and BI tools. Familiarity with SQL.
  • Deep understanding of digital acquisition channels.
  • Strong background in SEO, newsletter, social and partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate complex/nuanced information to business and technical audiences alike
  • The desire to constantly launch, learn and iterate in order to improve our customer acquisition funnels hit aggressive growth targets.
  • Strong sense of initiative, comfort with autonomy and ambiguity, and ability to adapt swiftly when necessary.
  • Experience working in a high growth startup environment.
