Digital marketing and analytics have become vitally important to businesses, and the process of extracting a story and value from data along with site enhancements are now critical duties. Our Marketing Analyst will support our Digital Team (Lead Aggregator, PPC, CPM, Website) with a strong focus on website performance for our Trident brand. They will also work with the website technology team closely to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements. They will be expected to partner outside the business units and outside the company to ensure that best practices in metrics and decision making are being exposed to the BU management and core website decision makers. This individual will be the primary point-of-contact for all website analytics and support daily and ad-hoc reporting for our digital channels for the Trident brand.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the Digital Team to report on performance and trends in digital marketing channels with a focus on website analytics
  • Serve as a key resource in auditing, architecting and improving the Trident website Google Analytics implementation
  • Support the design, development and implementation of ongoing site enhancements by providing regularly scheduled reports and updates to identify core insights, achieve business objectives and increase user performance
  • Serve as go-to resource for core website data analysis along with data insights on other digital channels including paid search and display.
  • Design and build dashboards, using data from multiple sources, to report on analytics for business drivers, various audiences on website use and engagement flow. Delivers actionable standardized and ad hoc reporting. Partner with agencies to automate reporting creation and delivery
  • Perform queries utilizing SQL programming language
  • Participate in development of and provide summary reporting on: website multi-variant testing, A/B testing, and other performance efforts that drive fundamental improvements to visitor experiences via web and mobile, and other digital assets
  • Perform deep dive analysis and present actionable business insights for specific marketing initiatives
  • Validate data collection and support development of regular management reporting combining digital data and school offline data from multiple sources
Education and Experience: Minimum
  • BA/BS in quantitative field including but not limited to finance, mathematics, statistics or similar
  • Experience with Google Analytics reporting and tagging
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies
  • SQL programming language preferred
  • 3 years experience in Internet Marketing Analytics preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access including VBA
  • Tableau experience preferred
  • Google Cloud / BigQuery experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success using metrics to improve engagement, inquiry generation, and conversion
  • Strong understanding of digital properties and how to provide actionable insights with data and audience segmentation
  • Familiarly with Google & Bing Ads and Google Marketing Platform reporting a bonus
  • Solid analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills with the ability to derive and communicate key insights from data
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment while keeping projects on schedule
  • Possesses strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Displays demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented, organized self-starter with ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Strong aptitude in delivering analytic insights to audiences using easy-to-understand methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
