We are looking for a talented Senior Social Media Manager to plan and execute our organic and paid social media strategy. You will be responsible for creating original text, graphics, and video content, managing posts, and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to help us achieve our marketing goals.

As a Senior Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to jump in and leverage social media to engage and grow our following, while providing leads for our sales pipeline.

Essential Functions

  • Proactive content planning and scheduling
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and goals and report on status of meeting those
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams to gain insight on products, industry knowledge, and to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Build a community with our target audience for each brand
    • 1 main brand that would be the priority, and 3-4 additional brands that would require attention and have more work to be done in building brand awareness
  • Watch our competition and make sure we are always a step ahead
  • Research and watch inspiring companies (inside and outside our industry) on social media and mirror their techniques
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, (Ex. promotions, competitions, educational campaigns)
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the marketing content strategy to ensure you are using social channels to promote and support campaigns
  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) that support brand awareness and content marketing campaigns
  • Manage a social media budget for each brand, spend accordingly, and tweak spending strategy based on results

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5+ years work experience managing all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Required
  • Dependable High-Speed Internet and a distraction-free work area.
  • Proactive content planning and scheduling

  • HubSpot experience
  • Social Media Management tool experience
  • Ability to manage multiple brands on social platforms at once
  • Proactive content planning and scheduling
  • Ability to use templates to create social graphics
  • Ability to create short videos for social media
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • On-camera, shooting, and editing skills
  • Ability to be creative with messaging while mirroring the voice of the company laid out in the messaging brand guidelines
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Understanding of social metrics and how to use them for performance improvement
  • A/B testing
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
