Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive level of technical knowledge and skills in areas of application development that may include:
- Driving 4 years of development experience in .Net, .Net Core and C# in an Agile environment;
- Utilizing experience in API design, SDK architecture, and software lifecycle development practices;
- Defining, architecting, and implementing a target-state API toolset that will significantly enhance developer experience across the API lifecycle;
- Understanding of service architecture and experience of API and service-based architectures using SOAP, REST APIs, micro-services;
- Showcasing experience of SDLC, CI/CD in tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube;
- Utilizing broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OpenAPI, OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.); and,
- Having an enhanced understanding of Cloud-based platforms and services including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in improving and managing the productivity of technology processes and business processes by creating automated workflows to replace manual workflows including the following areas:
- Building SPA Applications using libraries and frameworks such as React, React Redux, Angular, Vue;
- Leveraging API Management and Service Mesh Services such as Azure API Management, Apigee, and Kong Service Mesh;
- Showing familiarity with Event Driven Architecture and messaging middleware (Azure Event Hub, Kafka, SQS);
- Utilizing automated testing tools such as JUnit, nUnit, Selenium, Cypress and related tools;and, and,
- Understanding of container-based deployments and configuration (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
