Responsibilities

In support of our feature teams:

Work multi-functionally with product managers and designers to craft and implement user-facing features using React, Redux, and TypeScript

As part of our Frontend Platform team:

Pioneer and help drive frontend engineering best practices
Build and extend frontend infrastructure and libraries
Optimize and instrument web applications to maximize speed and scale
Produce technical designs and roadmaps to deliver the next stage of our frontend architecture (including considerations related to frontend-to-backend communication, authentication, performance, etc.)
Ensures the delivery and rollout of each iteration of our frontend infrastructure

Write clean code and automated UI tests
Own meaningful and substantial parts of our application

Requirements

5-10 years of experience developing modern, component-based web applications.
3-5 years of experience with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
Bachelor’s in computer science or similar technically-focused degree
Experience building dynamic, highly-interactive products with complex state management
Great understanding of usability and visual design
In-depth knowledge of modern best practices and patterns for frontend development
Expert in frontend instrumentation and automated testing
Experience with mentoring other frontend engineers
