We are looking for a Temporary Web Developer to join one of our dynamic consulting teams for a 4-to-6-month engagement. During this time, this role will partner with our data analysts and project managers to turn our existing data tools into a user-friendly, web-based interface. The ideal candidate for this opportunity should have an awareness of user interactive design, have prior experience connecting data platforms to interactive frontend features, and must be comfortable iterating quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Contribute to the planning and scoping process

  • Design and implement features

  • Produce clean, thorough documentation

  • Contribute to other projects as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Professional experience in API design and building user-oriented, interactive web features

  • Proficiency with GraphQL

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript

  • Experience with Go and/or proficiency with Python

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with interactive data visualization tools such as D3 or Highcharts

  • Experience working in React with Redux

  • Familiarity with SQL, Business Intelligence
