Spruce is looking for a Client Support Associate to join its growing Client Experience team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in excellent customer service and will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. As a part of the Client Experience team, you will handle a variety of communications from clients via telephone and email, and work closely with adjacent teams and departments.

What You'll Do

    • Proactively handling incoming communication from clients via phone and email;
    • Implementing projects that increase process efficiency;
    • Working with third-party vendors to prepare files for settlement;
    • Timely responses to regulatory requests through established channels;
    • Report to Frontend Operations Manager and work closely with the Closing department;
    • Start the closing process for orders based on established standards and practices with almost no guidance

Requirements

    • Ability to work with multiple different clients that have their own unique process flows and vocabulary;
    • Adaptive in stressful situations / problem solving skills;
    • Experience in customer service a plus;
    • Title experience a plus, but not a requirement;
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment;
    • Comfort working with different applications;
    • Ability to multitask;
    • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing to clients and the team about situations affecting settlements;
    • Motivated by curiosity and eager to learn our business;
    • Drive to be successful;
    • Perceived by others to be a resource;
    • Calm under pressure;
    • Ability to work on a team effectively;
    • Clear and effective in giving and receiving feedback
