Senior Front-End Application Developer

As a Senior Developer, on the DevSecOps transformation team you will be responsible to design, develop, build and maintain a web-based application. You will be actively involved in the project lifecycle producing rapid prototypes early in the design phase.

The Senior Developer will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions. As the Senior Developer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development along with maintaining the application database schema.
The Senior Developer will be playing a pivotal role in adopting DevSecOps principles within their development approach with emphasis on Behavior Driven Development and Code coverage.

In this role, The Senior Developer will be required to form strategic partnerships with key internal partners and subject matter authorities to achieve business results

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software development working on enterprise-class applications including the following:
  • 6+ years of experience developing or architecting Web
Application framework with NodeJS, Spring Boot, Java, Angular JS (knowledge of Angular 5+ required) or React JS
  • 3+ years of some experience with concept of service API, caching, web component, content management, web security, SSR/CSR, cloud platform, queue, micro services and service mesh, sql and non-sql storage, identity management, CICD.
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud and cloud native technologies (Azure, GCP)
  • BDD experience (Jest, Jasmine, Karma or Chai)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAFE practices or able to work in SAFE practices and agile methodologies.
Experience with responsive, adaptive UI design and development
Experience related to security-oriented projects and solutioning.
Experience with UI sharing: Web Components, Micro-frontends, Control/Pattern libraries and tools
Experience in Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT and other DevOps principles
Ability to multi-task and rapid context switch between dynamic project priorities
Strong communication and organizational skills

Education
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field required.
