We are PDI, a technology solutions and marketing services provider of coalition and proprietary loyalty reward programs. We’ve got ideas, and so do you. We need a team member who can transform business objectives and product requirements into beautifully designed, user-focused and intuitive UI experiences for mobile, web, and other products.

The UI Designer will collaborate with product strategists and analysts as well as product managers, marketers and other key stakeholders to create, design, code and implement amazingly intuitive interfaces. With a strong understanding of best practices and knowledge of cutting-edge trends in digital interfaces, the UI Designer is the ultimate end-user advocate who produces online and mobile experiences that seamlessly engage every user. This role requires a mix of both creative and coding skillsets.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling online and mobile consumer experience that drive business results; strategize and drive interactive product development from site map to launch
  • Design and develop front-end user experience/interface solutions
  • Update app themes & templates to match brand guidelines
  • Research and stay current with UI/UX/IxD best and recommended practices
  • Responsible for front-end performance optimization across all user interfaces
  • Facilitate development of UI designs for user research; provide recommendations both in written and visual form
  • Work collaboratively with digital strategists, development, product, and brand/communications teams
  • Demonstrate solid project management skills to assist project managers in work estimates, planning and level of effort
  • Test concepts, perform task and user analysis, and assist with user acceptance testing
  • Learn proprietary content development software
  • Edit code in .json format

Required Experience, Skills and Education:

  • Associate Degree or commensurate work experience in UI Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Mobile App Development or similar.
  • Experience with interface design and best practices (navigation elements, data & dynamic content presentation, forms, responsive/adaptive design, patterns, components, etc.)
  • Strong skills and demonstrated experience with design programs (Sketch, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Extensive experience creating interactive prototypes with tools such as Adobe XD, MarvelApp, Invision, AfterEffects, UXPin, Axure or similar.
  • Outlook 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HTML5/CSS3
  • Experience with App Development, Xcode, Android Studio is a plus
  • Basic experience with Git, Node/Gulp, Javascript is a plus
  • Able to contribute in a team environment yet work autonomously
  • Solid professional communications skills
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills
  • Flexible, good at multi-tasking and able to prioritize
  • Willing to learn and ready for the challenge
