Front End Developer (UX Engineer)

Description

We are looking for an experienced UX engineer to join a young development team. As the UX engineer, you will be working on the front-end of our web application product, building user interfaces and prototypes while adhering to UX best practices. You will be working closely with the product manager and UI/UX designer to create user-friendly, intuitive, and practical interfaces, actively defining how the application should work as well as how it looks. You will be involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle from planning to deployment, ensuring that a quality product is delivered and provides value to its end users.
Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features and the visual elements that users interact with in the web-based application
  • Identify, design, and build new wireframes and prototypes for new features and enhancements
  • Ensure responsiveness of web pages so that they can be optimized for all platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, and back-end developers during development to ensure features meet product requirements and follow UX best practices
  • Design and maintain reusable code and library for future use to ensure consistency across the suite
  • Always stay consistent with branding guidelines for all web elements and page designs
  • Continuously establish, maintain, and improve the UI development process and stay up to date on the latest emerging technology

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven work experience as a front-end developer, UX engineer, or related fields
  • Experience with designing, prototyping, and implementing user interfaces
  • Experience with responsive web applications
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with other developers, UI/UX designers, and QAs
  • You must be introspective
  • You must be motivated by values, particularly those related to right and wrong such as justice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
