Retail Operations Consultant

We are a Nationwide Consulting firm filling several Direct Full time positions with NCR. NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) is a leading software- and services-led enterprise provider in the financial, retail, hospitality, telecom and technology industries. We are looking for someone with the following skills below:
Years in retail industry or store operations consulting

Worked as a consultant with recognized consulting company, identify client objectives, ability to scope a project

Knowledge of FDMM, CFR or DSR retail industries and operations, familiarity with basic store operations, e.g., Front-end operations, BOPIS, mobile shopper

Experience with basic data cleaning, formatting, and summary skills. Basic statistical analysis skills, such as, averages, standard deviations, percentiles, and confidence intervals

An understanding of basic retail consumer behaviors, able to conduct research focused on in-store behaviors and experiences of consumers, and experience observing and documenting these behaviors,

Experience with methodology for measurement of the underlying processes, tasks and time-motion considerations that support a store operating model. Ability to design optimized employee experiences and store processes.

Experience with technique for establishing standard times, which are required time to perform a given task, based on time measurements of the work content of the prescribed method, with due consideration for fatigue and for personal and unavoidable delays.

Experience with change management methodologies and ability to embed new solutions, operating model and ways of working at a customer

Able to communicate complexity / detail leveraging mix of verbal, PowerPoint and other mediums

Experience with taking an idea from concept to commercial solution, and developing a customer value proposition

Able to build client relationships and credibility and identify opportunities for up-sell / cross-sell of services within existing clients

A team player able to lead by example

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and Master degree (in quantitative disciplines, such as, industrial systems engineering, management science, or data analytics)
