Job Description:
The Position
We’re looking for an excellent team player who has rich experience and passion for writing high quality and highly performant code. You should be someone who enjoys solving problems elegantly, able to architect innovative solutions from scratch or build on existing systems and has a passion for life-long learning, and mentoring others - you will have the opportunity to do all of these things at Aquent Studios.
Typical Billable Responsibilities
Application architecture and development
Client facing meetings, requirement gathering, and estimation
Writing unit tests
Mentoring/Training
Technology assessments and recommendations
Typical Non-Billable Responsibilities
Aid with sales meeting technical questions and demonstrations
Assist with project feasibility analysis
Support project estimation efforts
Collaborate on proposals
Skills Required
6+ years of software development experience with Javascript, CSS and HTML
3+ years experience with React. Expert with React Hooks.
Proven client management skills
Confidence with test driven development
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience developing transactional user interfaces
Skills Desired
Experienced with React frameworks like Next.js
Knowledge of Jamstack applications development
History of Enterprise application development and deployment
Proficiency in Angular or other Javascript frameworks
Familiar with Tailwind css or another popular CSS extension language
Good visual design and layout skills
Agile Experience
Education Required
A background in computer science or equivalent work experience
