About the Position:
- Java/Angular Lead: leadership skills, spring, front end Angular, REST API's, AWS infrastructure, Java
- Will work and train under Sunil
- Once the individual can handle the milestone and stakeholder expectations they will manage the team and Sunil will move to his new team
- They will eventually report into Alex Maximov
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Whatever is committed is delivered on time from a technology perspective
- If there is any risk, they come up with that ahead of time and come up with risk mitigation strategies
- Every request that comes into FINRA, they need to make sure that it has the right level of authentication and authorization
- Manage day-to-day work for the team
- Resolve any clashes between the teams
- Hands-on: 30-35%, leadership: 65-70%
- Current tech stacks:
- ForgeRock - identity and access management
- Springboot
- AWS
- Microservices: hundreds - all distributed but they are trying to combine them
- Java 11
- Angular 2+
- Database: all AWS based
Must Have Skills/ Requirements:
- How identity and access management works
- 10+ years as a developer: Java
- Angular 2+
- Spring
- AWS
- REST API's
Nice to Have Skills/ Requirements:
- ForgeRock
- Account management and governance
- Good listener - many times candidates did not listen to the questions fully and would start answering prior to listening to the full question
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- AWS: 5 years (Preferred)
- Java: 10 years (Preferred)
