About the position:

As Full-stack Developer I, you will work and familiarize yourself with the customer and admin web applications and API. Projects will be outlined and consist of frontend, backend, and database design tasks. Maintenace will be focused on resolving customer or management service desk tickets or internally reported bugs or errors. Writing clean commented code that is modular, documented, as well as testable with automation scripts is expected. Working collaboratively in a team environment with clear communication will only lead to team and development success. We are looking for someone who is familiar with best practices for creating single-page apps using Angular and restful endpoints using express and NodeJs.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and implement modular, well-documented, responsive, and accessible Javascipt frontend components.

  • Create new public and private REST and GraphQL API endpoints according to project document or task.

  • Collaborate with team members/managers to determine solutions to reported bugs and issues.

  • Document and communicate project/task status, roadblocks, dependencies, test procedures, and solutions using Jira and Confluence software.

  • Coordinate and integrate AMO API endpoints with external microservices or API services.

  • Work on the customer-facing application.

  • Abide by development procedures outlined in the developer handbook.

  • Submit frontend changes according to project wireframe or prototype.

  • Write data-agnostic automated tests and increase code coverage with every code submission.

  • Coordinate with the project manager to validate solutions, project and software success.

  • Submit improvements to existing frontend and backend code based on reported issues or bugs.

  • Utilize existing cloud services to accomplish projects or tasks.


  • Has strong knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line.

  • Has strong knowledge of Node.js.

  • Has strong knowledge of Angular 2+ and Typescript.

  • Has strong knowledge of relational databases (MYSQL, PostgreSQL).

  • Is highly familiar with working with JSON data.

  • Is familiar with using npm, yarn, and gulp.

  • Is familiar with creating and working with Rest API endpoints.

  • Is familiar with working with Third Party API’s Access tokens and Secrets.


  • Has a Computer Science Degree or equivalent.

  • Is familiar with the Ionic framework.

  • Experienced working with docker containers.

  • Has experience working in the health care/education industry.

  • Has experience working in a team environment.

  • Has launched a side project into production onto the internet.

  • Has published a mobile app to Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
