Who you are:

Basepaws is seeking an experienced Veterinary Account Manager to be responsible for managing inbound inquiries and regular account management for our veterinary hospital customer. You will provide product information, support, training and work to proactively solve our customers’ issues and concerns accurately and in a timely manner while managing and exceeding expectations.

If you have experience in the veterinary industry, are tech savvy, enjoy solving problems, and working with people, we’d love to hear from you. Experience using CRM software would be an asset.

This is a remote-friendly, part-time position, with approximately 10 hours per week time commitment required with opportunity to expand into a full-time role.

Bonus: Experience working in a startup environment would be an asset!


Connect with key players in veterinary hospitals on a regular cadence to educate on the benefits of Basepaws tests, discuss individual hospital performance, and coach on any challenges or successes at the hospital level

Schedule and execute virtual lunch n’ learns, conduct video meetings

Effective and professional handling of incoming client and business partners emails, phone calls, and online chat to ensure immediate response times

Obtain customer feedback and share with other departments and teammates to improve the entire customer experience

Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve customer concerns

Research client questions and document all client interactions

Help foster a company culture that strives for 100% client satisfaction

Help build and maintain our customer success workflow - coaching customers on how to optimize their product experience

Required Skills/Experience:

Previous experience working in the veterinary industry

Inside or outside sales/account management experience

Previous experience working in a start-up

Customer service experience and demonstrated outstanding service orientation

In-depth knowledge of the services and products provided in veterinary medicine

Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining a high attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive helpful attitude

Excellent verbal and written communications

Efficient in Google Suite products and willingness to learn new software

Patient, empathetic, and communicative

A keen desire to learn and progress within the company
