Overview:

We're currently looking for an experienced product designer who is passionate about building products that create value and are easy to use.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Oxford's executive team, adminstrative business team, real estate agents, and product team to develop a strategic product vision. You will then work closely with Oxford's product manager, CTO, software development team, and clients to translate that vision into meaningful features.

When you aren't developing products, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with the product manager to holistically professionalize how Oxford builds products and leverages design.

Responsibilities:

We're a rapidly growing and evolving team. Your responsibilities will therefore develop over time based on your strengths and the company's needs. The initial responsibilities will however include:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to define a cohesive and well-defined product vision and strategy.
  • Developing UI and UX specifications and prototypes with Oxford's product manager and software development team.
  • Conducting user research with administrative staff, agents, and end-users to ensure designs achieve their primary objectives.
  • Identifying new and exciting ways to add value to Oxford's digital products.
  • Formalizing Oxford's DesignOps process and proposing new opportunities for how design, design-thinking, and human-centered design could be leveraged by the organization.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Sketch.
  • Comfort with inheriting, maintaining, and improving legacy design systems.
  • Experience developing low, medium, and high fidelity UI/UX prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of user research, human-centered design, and design-thinking.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • A genuine interest in building world-class products and experience doing so.
  • Proficiency with articulating design concepts and rationalizing your vision to a multidisciplinary team.
  • An ability to negotiate and find a solution no matter what.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
