Job Role : Java Developer (with Kubernetes/K8s)
Job Description:
- K8s-savvy developer who can do Java/microservice development as well as have a good handle on cloud-native/K8s technology.
- Hands-on development of cloud-native software applications that will run on Container platforms and/or Functions-as-a-Service (aka Serverless).
- Applications are primarily on the following tech stack: Front-end: Angular / React / Dojo Service: Java (1.8+) with Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud Go Lang Rest APIs Pub/Sub (Kafka, KubeMQ).
- Backend: PSQL NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) Hands-on Docker containers on Kubernetes experience: Helm package management (templates, libraries, umbrella chart) Kubernetes Operator (Kubebuilder, Operator SDK).
- container security (image, network, storage, compute, NIST SP 800-190) Observability (Prometheus/Grafana, Opentelemetry, Jaeger, Kiali, EFK, etc).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $75.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Java: 7 years (Preferred)
- Kubernetes: 4 years (Preferred)
Work Location: Remote
