You excel at use of Atlassian applications – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket in on-prem setting as well as knowledge in other key applications which could include DocuWare, SonarQube, R Studio, etc. You understand how these tools contribute to the success of business and development teams. What You’ll Do
- Configure and maintain plugins in Jira such as Insight for Jira, Automation for Jira, and EazyBI.
- Promote team owned enterprise applications with the business teams, work with all departments to on-board and train, and exercise best judgment and experience in implementing their needs.
- Continuously improve the process and tooling to offer the best value and experience to end-users.
- Support teammates in upgrades, integrations and projects.
- Ensuring application uptimes and best practices in application resiliency.
- Manage Windows server platforms and RHEL server platforms hosting various applications.
- Manage applications, plugins, and conduct application server upgrades.
- Work with IT and business users on evaluating and implementation of new add-ons, exercising best judgment with go/no-go decisions.
- Work with Business and Development teams to analyze and classify their needs; create new Jira Software and Service Desk projects, automation to provide tool usability, and drive adoption.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in technology field or work experience accepted in lieu of a degree
- Experience in daily management of Atlassian application stack – JIRA, Jira Service Desk, Portfolio, Confluence, Bitbucket, Insight and OpsGenie.
- 1-3 years of Enterprise Application Admin experience with 3rd party platforms which can include: SonarQube, Atlassian Stack, R Studio, CData, OvalEdge, DocuWare.
- Knowledge and experience with on-prem/cloud hosting, application installation and configuration, application upgrades, and server migrations.
- Advanced knowledge of Jira Service Desk project setup and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of JIRA searches, JQL, reporting capabilities, dashboards, and add-ons that expand their functionality, and workflows.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting using Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner and Groovy is a plus.
- Experience in working with 3rd party vendor support.
- Understand Tomcat running on Windows and Linux, manage JVM memory, garbage collection, etc. to ensure optimal application performance.
- Familiarity with Virtual Machines, and VMWare is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team setting with direct team as well as other teams in furthering projects is key.
- Experience with enterprise server and application monitoring and alerting tools, integration with JVM monitoring using New Relic and OpsGenie is a plus
