CVS Health is currently hiring for an Application Developer to join our team. We are looking for someone to work on all critical functions for the applications assigned, including championing Agile/SDLC (Software Development Process) methods and standard methodologies on the team to ensure that quality standards are met. You will work as part of a team of experienced developers and architects in the Enterprise Person HUB application using Java, DB2, Infosphere MDM, Spring, WebSphere, Informatica and Unix. You will share our software development goals of building and maintaining high-quality systems and components that achieve a high degree of reuse and maintainability. Additionally, the developer is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned; as well as ensure and adhere to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will work well with others, possess strong written/verbal communication, organizational skills and will perform independently in a high volume dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate should be able to anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur. You will capture and update necessary information and communicate to appropriate parties as well as coordinate cross functionally to accomplish assigned tasks. As an Advisor you may have the opportunity to mentor less experienced members of the team as well as assist in support and incident resolution that may include on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in any application development role including the following
  • 5+ years experience in JAVA
  • 5+ years in leading development deployments and production support activities.
  • 3+ years of DB2, SQL or Oracle
  • 3+ year of leading a project or leading a team.
  • Minimum 3+ years of working experience in supporting Production environment
  • 3 years experience with Traditional Development Life Cycle/Agile

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IBM MDM Infosphere Standard Edition
  • Experience with development lifecycle and Agile.
  • Experience in working with Java applications and java frameworks.
  • Experience with IBM MDM Infosphere Standard Edition
  • Experience with the following technologies: JAVA build tools like Dimensions, QuickBuild , Maven , Gradle and Ant.
  • CI/CD tools like jenkins and GitLab
  • Prior Healthcare or RETAIL Background is a plus

Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required

Masters degree in related field preferred
