HR Systems and Operations Analyst

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior HR Systems and Operations Partner to be a dynamic technical partner and support for our HR team members across our global People team, help streamline our processes and programs to improve efficiency, and ensure employee data integrity, security, and more! We are looking for someone who has Workday configuration experience and can specialize in Security, Integrations, and Reporting (among other things). While this position will need a specialty in security and integrations, there is encouraged opportunity to expand into other areas of Workday.

In This Role You Will:

  • Design, implement, and execute Workday Security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of Workday systems including business process and domain security policies.

  • Own and maintain the overall Security architecture and governance to maintain security across the Workday platform and other HR software

  • Document and train HR and other stakeholders on matters related to Workday security architecture, security groups and governance

  • Analyze, develop, test, and deploy security specific to Workday to meet business requirements and define how Workday fits within our overall technology roadmap to support the employee and administrator experience

  • Work closely with functional Workday Administrators and stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend, test, and deliver security related configuration needed for new functionality and change requests to ensure data integrity and security

  • Independently identify, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex Workday security issues

  • Adhere to compliance standards, such as GDPR, including documentation of requirements, testing, and approvals

  • Build processes and policies to ensure employee data integrity and security, with emphasis on Workday security groups and integrations

  • Partner with the IT and security team to create provisioning rules and groups

  • Deeply understand how Workday integrates with and impacts other systems; inform key cross-functional partners of new configurations and process changes (e.g., Finance, Legal, Payroll, Risk & Compliance, Security)

  • Partner with teams to build and manage efficient integrations from Workday to various software and providers used by the business

  • Maintain and troubleshoot current integrations, such as background checks, benefit providers, third-party payroll vendors, intranet, financial system

  • Provide daily operational support to HR team and end users in Workday

  • Troubleshoot report related issues in a timely manner, while providing solutions that support the company’s vision and mission

  • Create customized Workday reports for management and HR system users which provide insights into key headcount, staffing and compensation metrics

  • Utilize Advanced Workday report writing experience, to modify delivered reports and create custom reports, including composite reports, matrix reports, BIRT and dashboards, which meet customer needs

  • Demonstrate an ability to leverage calculated fields and an understanding of Workday’s data architecture and business object model to recommend the most efficient solutions

  • Work directly with key business stakeholders and our outside consultants to gather requirements, design, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and provide out of the box solutions

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits, developing best practices, and maintaining relevant documentation

  • Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to existing security

  • Manage security related to the employee life cycle in Workday, working closely with the IT team

  • Handle all aspects of employee migration and onboarding in the event of M&A activity

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials and job aids for end users, in addition to leading training efforts

  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ability to design, implement, and execute Workday Security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of Workday systems (all modules) including business process and domain security policies.

  • Experience with Workday security and integrations required

  • Solid understanding of global HR operations and experience in employee data management and security

  • Strong technical skills and experience with XML, XSLT or Java

  • Self-starter with a willingness to take initiative, problem solve, and create solutions to streamline processes

  • Trustworthy individual with high attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data

  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution

  • Ability to work effectively in a growing and changing environment and handle multiple projects

  • Proficient with G-Suite

  • Positive attitude and team player
