Who We Are Looking For:
We are currently looking for an electronic data interchange (EDI) interface specialist to join our team. We are looking for a high-impact individual who will be able to rapidly absorb our interfacing processes and procedures. We plan for an introductory ramp-up/training period but will be expecting the specialist to work with minimal guidance or supervision. Job Description:
- Create and maintain interfaces between LigoLab and its clients using HL7, XML, ASTM, and X12 protocols in the Mirth interface engine
- Work directly with clients for new interface builds and existing interface modifications
- Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining JavaScript transformation scripts to customize processes that exchange data between systems
- ***MUST have working knowledge of Javascript and mirth engine***
- Assist support team in application and interfacing support
- Work with the development team for interface optimization
Required skills:
- Experience with EDI development process and support (analytical skills, ability to understand interfacing requirements)
- Basic programming knowledge (variables, functions, etc.), troubleshooting and debugging skills, * **Java Script and Mirth Connect knowledge a must***
- Networking fundamentals
- Ability to communicate with clients (fluent in English)
- Ability to work on multiple projects and self-prioritize
- Most importantly--a good attitude and desire to learn the domain and succeed
Preferred skills:
- OOP fundamentals / JavaScript experience
- Experience with XML/HL7/ASTM file formats
- Experience with Mirth Connect or other interface engines
- Experience with laboratory information systems, and/or experience in medical laboratory environment
