Spixler is looking for a developer to help manage and build out its network of websites, which are among world leaders in sports betting media, lead generation, and referrals.

This developer will be tasked with monitoring day-to-day and week-to-week website performance, and will be expected to flag, manage, and alleviate issues as they are identified. The developer will also be expected to execute projects that implement new features and plug-ins on the website, improve overall efficiency and performance, and enhance user experiences, among other enterprise and maintenance tasks.

As Spixler’s assets are media platforms built around lead generation and referral services, primary objectives for the developer and for the team as whole include traffic acquisition and user conversion towards revenue-generating opportunities. All work deployments will be made with these goals in mind. The execution of performance improvements and consistently effective maintenance will be paramount.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to have good familiarity with WordPress/PHP, StrapiCMS, Vue.js/JavaScript, and/or DigitalOcean. Familiarity with both frontend and backend development is a plus.

Spixler is an equal-opportunity employer powered by a passionate team. Spixler offers a fully remote working environment in which strong communication is required and a cooperative attitude is a necessity. Applicants should be self-motivated and eager to improve. Applicants should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and should be capable of clearly communicating working objectives to other developers, to coworking peers outside of the development sphere, and to their directing manager.

A proven background in active web development is required. Applicants should include both a resume and a cover letter that specifically details their experiences with WordPress/PHP, StrapiCMS, Vue.js/JavaScript, and/or DigitalOcean, as well as familiarity with either both or one of frontend and backend development processes. Applications that do not include both of these required materials will not be considered.

Perks include flexible working hours, PTO, benefits, and meritorious vertical opportunities.

We look forward to hearing from you.
