As a Software Engineer working on Internal Tools at Reliable Robotics, you will architect, design, and implement software to support the certification of automated aircraft systems. You will work closely with product owners and end users to develop solutions that enable and optimize the certification workflow. The software you produce will be critical to the certification of the first fully autonomous aircraft.
In your role as an internal tool developer, you will develop browser-based applications to enable aircraft system certification from start to finish. You will work with product owners and stakeholders to establish technical and UX design requirements, understand the aircraft system certification domain as it applies to the tools you develop, and own the “plan, code, build, test, release, deploy” lifecycle of these applications and services.
Basic Success Criteria
- Ability to design user interfaces based on user stories
- Strong aptitude for usability/UX
- Skilled at structuring data and determining data relationships
- Experience developing software in a team setting
- You might not have all of these skills and experience, but that’s ok! We want to hear from you if you have several of the following...
- Experience delivering APIs and web applications, especially using GraphQL
- Experience developing reusable features using React
- Experience delivering business-critical software
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
At Reliable Robotics, we believe that our internal tools are key ingredients to our success. Aircraft design, integration, and certification are highly complex processes requiring diligent management of data and their relationships. Traditionally a paper process, our tools enable our system designers to move faster, conduct more thorough and comprehensive analysis, and design safer airplane systems. Come be a part of taking our products to the next level.
