Technical Analyst

JPI is looking for a Technical Analyst with a minimum of three years of management consulting experience and direct project management experience. The successful applicant will provide full-time remote support to a commercial client. Please note: this is a short-term contract (3-6 months) with the possibility of extension.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Draft policy and regulations for program needs
  • Analyze existing policy and identify gaps requiring additional clarification
  • Facilitate activities and engagement among multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Development and maintenance of integrated master schedules / project plans
  • Use of project management information systems to support ongoing project management efforts
  • Leading and facilitating client meetings and exercises
  • Capturing meeting minutes and action items
  • Creating project status briefings and reports
  • Mapping complex business processes and communicating processes solutions to the client
  • Development of communication plans, strategies, and documentation
  • Developing project artifacts including charters, agendas, minutes, and correspondence
  • Additional activities include participating in program management working sessions and supporting program managers in executing day-to-day project management activities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or a related field
  • Experience with AWS, Java, Javascript/TypeScript (Node.js, Electron.js), Windows (Azure), Active Directory, Networking (Palo Alto)
  • Familiarity with policy, controls, NIST series
  • Comfortable interfacting with Developers and Engineers
  • Management consulting experience required, with at least three years in project management
  • Understanding of developing project management methodologies (processes, best practices, tools, and templates)
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with program managers
  • Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships
  • PMP is preferred
