BlueCheck, Inc is a small software firm providing age and identity verification solutions to internet-based companies. Based in Austin, TX, the company has grown since its founding in 2014 to serve hundreds of businesses across the United States. BlueCheck is seeking a senior software engineer with strong javascript skills to join our company.

This position is work from home, however the applicant will need to be able to keep Central time working hours. The compensation for this role is $800,000 - $140,000+ per year depending on experience.

Responsible for:

Day to day responsibilities will include improving and adding new features to our web apps and eCommerce plugins as well as debugging any front-end issues that arise. The role is largely independent and candidates should be comfortable working through issues and finding creative solutions on their own.

Required Skills:

* 5+ years building web applications and have designed, developed, and supported an operationally critical web service.

* 3-5 years of Javascript experience

* Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

Skills That Give You A Plus:

* Experience using Laravel / PhP

* Database experience (SQL)

* Experience in API Design and Architecture

* Experience building Ecommerce Plugins (BigCommerce, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)

* Experience using vue.js

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
