Software Engineer - Ad Code Team (5 positions)

The Software Engineer responsibilities include the development and design of new features of our Ad Code product deployed on over 3,000 sites and reaching over 170mm monthly unique users. This role uses your expertise in building high-performance JavaScript libraries that run in the browser, and leverages your ability to interpret business requirements and deliver solutions that help our clients effectively monetize their traffic. The role will actively participate in code review, documentation, testing, and performance considerations throughout the feature development lifecycle. This position reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager for the Ad Code Core team.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience designing and implementing JavaScript-based libraries and frameworks (i.e. not just web interfaces)
  • Experience with web application JavaScript frameworks and the latest ECMAScript standards. Angular2 and Typescript are a plus.
  • 2+ years experience with ad serving technology, including DFP/GAM, header bidding, and/or Prebid.js
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), databases (MySQL) and command line environment.
  • Experience with performance and unit testing
  • Experience developing software using Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • WordPress experience a plus
  • Rock-solid debugging and data analysis skills
