G2IT is a recognized leader in providing Multi-Vendor/Multi-Platform Service Management & Service Automation solutions to the Public Sector. We currently have an opening for a Senior/Lead ServiceNow Developer in support of one of our deployment and sustainment teams. The base salary is very competitive, the position supports remote work and requires US citizenship and background investigation.


Assist with the migration team in the transition to the ServiceNow Platform for a large civilian agency leading the ongoing development, integration, and sustainment efforts. Will be responsible for configuring custom tables, workflows and procedures and designing, building, and customizing applications and services within ServiceNow. Ideal candidate will have experience:

  • Implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Providing insight and expertise into the ServiceNow platform capabilities and roadmap
  • Customizing ServiceNow applications and facilitating the roll out of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow
  • Experience with implementing ServiceNow integrations (Rest API design, web services, database integrations)
  • Develop new enhancements and custom apps and deploy to ServiceNow Store. This will require expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Workflows, Client Scripts, UI Policy, UI Actions
  • Working closely with the ServiceNow technical team to convert requirements into design and migration steps


  • 6+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods
  • Experience with implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow
  • Ability to customize workflows, code Business Rules and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create custom applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web services protocols
  • ServiceNow Certification, Certified Application Developer preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 per year
