Lead Software Architect and Developer

The Lead Developer/Architect will be responsible for providing leadership around technical architecture and full stack software development using cutting edge technologies such as Angular, Node.js, and well versed with Azure and DevSecOps practices. The candidate must have hands-on experience building software solutions and mobile apps from scratch and he/she must be adept with agile development methodologies. Our platform will weave best-in-class components from leading software products and the open-source community.

The candidate must have significant and recent experience in architecting and developing Mobile and Cloud-based solutions that are used commercially, including owning and managing release management, product availability, disaster recovery and security. The candidate should also have led big teams, as this role requires leading, recruiting and growing the technical team.

The desired candidate will relish the challenges of a start-up environment and should have a successful track record of building a product from inception and scaling it to market leadership. Willingness to work part time for equity in lieu of compensation is required for a few months.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong startup experience or at least 5+ years of relevant experience in full stack development and development is required.
  • Strong Web Development background including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, NoSQL, ML/AI, Containers/Dockers and RESTFUL web services/API dev is required
  • Experience defining and establishing processes for development and ensuring a robust, extensible architecture
  • Experience managing applications development process/ organization for high-quality code-base that is modular, scalable, and efficient
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud-based environments such as Azure.
  • Exposure to health care space would be a plus
