Principal Software Engineer

This will involve careful analyses, software design, coding, troubleshooting, and unit testing. About the Team The team is chartered with developing mission critical products for our cloud offering using cutting edge technologies. You will be involved in full stack development, front to back, start to end. Team members range in years of experience. Web Applications Developer is expected to write code that is both functional and elegant. The Project: We are looking for a senior engineer who has significant design and implementation experience with web applications development. You will design and implement the web applications for a scalable cloud service and collaborate with other design, architecture, and other development teams. Required Skills: 10 + years of experience in developing software or application development Extensive experience developing microservice using NodeJS/Java Experience with JMS frameworks, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ Experience with creating rich UI with JavaScript frameworks preferably using React. Experience in integrating with the RESTful APIs with JSON and XML payloads Experience in designing data models for different flavors SQL & NoSQL Databases Experience in developing and troubleshooting cross-platform and cross-browser issues Solid knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Git, unit testing frameworks Experience with cloud native technologies including container lifecycle and orchestration (E.g., Docker, Helm, K8S) Hands on experience with agile development processes Ability to work on a small team and lead an area of focus Desired Skills: Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, using Mocha. Knowledge of Kafka Knowledge of caches/in-memory stores, like Redis/Memcached Nice to have basic Python knowledge BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree Are you interested?
