Job Responsibilities :
"Activities to be performed/ Should be able to:
- Use dataflow for both streaming and batch activities
- work at both a consultative/architect level
- Be able to provide demo/sample code/etc
- Help field questions/issues from the development team around their design approach (which they hope to replicate and reuse).
- Should have presence/interpersonal skills complemented by the technical experience in Dataflow environments"
The team is looking for a Python Dataflow expert, specifically Python SDK Apache Beam including being aware of the differences/pros and cons of Java vs Python. It would also be helpful if they knew BigQuery ELT transformation patterns and optimization strategies (rather than just writing to BQ and querying).
The consultant needs to be able to articulate clearly, draw out the broader architectural concepts and principles
