As well, we design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.

The Data Analyst will work with a centralized data team helping PwC’s business units to manage data on PwC’s platform. This role will define data sets that require to be anonymized by working directly with PwC’s lines of service through defining their data objectives, understanding data de-identification requirements, developing de-identification rules, and supporting the client secondary data usage policy.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member in the following areas:

  • Accessing remote data sources, use data masking and Mage (Mentis) de-identification software to de-identify private sensitive data;
  • Preparing data using data integration tools for feeding into de-identification software;
  • Installing, configuring, and operating the de-identification software, database management, file management, and other software tools;
  • Working with an expert committee of business subject matter experts , data and analytic experts to implement the anonymization methods and strategies that they define using the Mage (Mentis) de-identification software;
  • Meeting (remotely or on-site) weekly with an expert committee to focus on de-identifying sensitive personal data for data recipients;
  • Exhibiting proven experience and knowledge of programming languages for automation (i.e. Excel macros, python etc.), as well as Advanced Programming/SQL Experience;
  • Demonstrating reporting experience. and experience using or creating web services;
  • Working effectively with business leaders and partners to identify information needs, and define reporting requirements; and,
  • Working both independently and cooperatively on team assignments.
