Senior Python, Django Software Developer

Media Predict is a media and marketing research company that utilizes prediction markets - in tandem with complimentary research methods such as custom surveys and online dial testing - to generate primary market research for consumer-facing industries, such as media, consumer packaged goods, technology, financial services, and restaurants. It does this in countries throughout the world. The company has developed and operates online game sites in North America and Europe as part of its research infrastructure.

Our development needs are growing quickly, and we are looking for strong, qualified candidates to join our team. Our systems are Python/Django applications with JavaScript/React and Postgres hosted on AWS/Heroku. Candidates with the relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualified candidates must have the following:

• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Experience writing code professionally in Python and Django (7+ years)
• Experience with a version control tool

Other Requirements:

• Good degree of familiarity with modern client-side web technologies (we mainly use React, for small things jQuery)
• Clean code base covered with tests (It is not a problem if you are not currently using Unit testing or CI. We will get you on board quickly.)

While knowing our stack is definitely an advantage, it is not by any means a disqualifying factor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
