Workforce Optimization Developer

We are looking for a Workforce Optimization Developer to join our growing Mission Control Analytics team. Mission Control Analytics team members are responsible for developing and maintaining all of the analytical resources and data tools necessary to enable workforce programming and management of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong optimization and technical background.
  • Collect requirements and translate them into analytical solutions through workforce optimization techniques and tools
  • Collaborate with data engineers to identify data structures required to apply advanced analytics methods to solve workforce planning challenges (i.e. optimization and/or machine learning)
  • Develop and maintain advanced optimization and statistical models to streamline business processes and provide actionable analysis
  • Develop internal advanced analytics capabilities by setting standards for modeling to ensure robust modeling solutions
  • Ensures analytical models and methods are scalable
  • Work with partners in functions across program management, operations, learning and development, engineering, analytics, and product management
  • Collaborate with other workforce analysts and data engineers
  • 8+ years experience in a statistical and/or data science role
  • 5+ years of coding experience in at least one programming language (R, Python, C++, or Java)
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL
  • BS/BA in a technical field
  • Experience with advanced analytical techniques (i.e. forecasting, multivariate statistics)
  • Experience with optimization
  • Experience with ambiguity and applying creativity to solve problems
  • 5+ years of experience with building statistical models and/or optimization for workforce
  • Experience with translating findings into actions
  • Experience building optimization models for workforce planning purposes
  • Experience with data architecture and structure for advanced analytics techniques
  • 1+ years experience building cross-functional partnerships
