ABOUT THE ROLE
DMI is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support the Army’s Office of Business Transformation and modernization of the Army’s Business Enterprise Architecture (ABEA) Development effort. The BI will evolve the ABEA Business Architecture in support of Army Business System Portfolio Management, Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) management and Business Process Reengineering efforts. The ABEA encompasses content from the six Army Functional Domains – Acquisition, Finance, Human Resources, Installations, Logistics and Training & Readiness as well as inputs based on Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) efforts and identify improved efficiencies that can be realized in the Architecture development process. The right candidate will be a dynamic partner that guides and supports the government customer to help realize the client’s modernization vision. Objectives for this effort:
Lead development of Enterprise, Business and Technical Architectures
Drive Systems and Service Architecture development?
Identify End-2-End business process modeling and improvement and business investment governance?
Business Process Reengineering?
IT requirements and acquisition reform efforts?
Implementation and convergence planning?for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Technical services to evaluate emerging technologies that could accelerate business transformation?
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering
2-5 years of experience working as a Business Intelligence Developer
Experience in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures
Experience with Army’s mission area functional domains (Acquisition,?Finance, Human Resources, Installations,?Logistics, Training & Readiness)
Meets eligibility requirements to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering
5+ years of experience in as a Business Intelligence Developer
5+ years in information technology, cyber security, enterprise architecture
Direct experience with Business Mission?Area Functional Domains (Acquisition,?Finance, Human Resources, Installations,?Logistics, Training & Readiness) in the?Army or other US Military?Department
Direct hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry
5+ years experience in the R and Python programming languages
5+ years experience in SQL and relational database reporting
2-5 years experience developing analytics in support of IT Portfolio Management.?
Current SECRET clearance
As a Federal Contractor, DMI is required to comply with the President’s Executive Order 14042 (Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, dtd 9/9/2021) and the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force’s Guidance for Federal Contractors (dtd 9/24/2021).
