As a Senior Software Engineer at Monkeyjump Labs, you will be responsible for architecting solutions, leading teams, interacting with client stakeholders, and writing code. Our work is challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced, but not at the expense of a healthy work-life balance. We are a hybrid company with an office in NE Minneapolis. 100% remote available.


Pay

100-130K annually


About You

You’re a technologist with an entrepreneurial spirit who can lead teams and deliver results for our customers while also contributing to our collective hive-mind through mentorship and support.


Job Responsibilities

  • Build web applications using technologies such as React and .NET Core
  • Work with client and stakeholders using lean software development methodologies
  • Provide technical leadership on projects
  • Estimate and task-out features
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Foster a culture of learning, trust, support, and fun
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Write clean and scalable code
  • Architect solutions


Qualifications

  • Required
    • 3+ years experience in developing web applications
    • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core or React
    • Proficiency in a type-safe language (e.g. Typescript, C#, Java)
    • Proficiency in Git
    • Familiarity with lean software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Nice-to-haves
    • Experience in professional services
