Responsibilities:
Who are you?

You are a creative, resourceful corporate Talent Acquisition (recruiting) professional who knows how to actively identify and pursue top talent to support rapid growth in multiple markets. The TA Specialist will be responsible for supporting Virgin Pulse’s busy hiring process by sourcing for, screening and communicating with passive professionals as well as new applicants coming in through our ATS (iCIMS). This important function will work with and support our other Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure flow of key candidates for tough to fill positions while also supporting business units that have constant, niche hiring needs.


In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:

  • This role is the perfect balance of external Sourcing (Approximately 40%) of new candidates as well as active recruitment and screening of candidates applying through normal channels (Approximately 60%), including full-cycle recruiting


    • About 40% of your week will be focuses on the sourcing of passive candidates through networking, internet searches, social media, email, LinkedIn, telephone, etc.
    • Create a pipeline of “bench” candidates for future opportunities which we know will be coming
    • Constantly assess both active and passive pipelined candidates from internet databases, social media, contact lists, internal databases, job boards, and employee referrals with relation to our current open requisition load.
    • Adding new candidates and insuring maintenance of accuracy of candidate records thorough documentation within the company's ATS (iCIMS)
    • Adequately screen candidates for their availability, interest level, compensation requirements, work location and more.
    • Decline applicants, whom do not meet the minimum qualifications for the position, with grace and gratitude.
    • Schedule screens and interviews at the proper stages in the process
    • Work with our TA Coordinator to set up hiring manager/hiring team interviews using our ATS and Outlook calendars
    • Provide qualified prescreened applicants to Recruiters
    • Direct sourced candidates to apply to open positions as needed
    • Develop relationships with candidates, ensuring each candidate has a positive recruiting experience with our organization
    • Provide pre-qualified candidates who are the best match for the assigned positions
    • Consistently update information in the Applicant Tracking System to ensure reporting is accurate

Qualifications:
What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

    • 3+ years of similar experience in active recruitment and passive sourcing of a variety of professional roles within a corporate environment.
      Experience with Applicant Tracking System(s) is a highly desired– iCIMS preferred
    • Consultative approach to managing relationships with hiring managers
    • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react quickly
    • Resiliency and ability to focus in an ever-changing demanding growth-oriented environment
    • Able to balance large quantities of outbound & inbound email communications, and detailed database entries in iCIMS
    • Able to read and accurately assess resumes for various job opportunities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to qualify and build a high-quality pipeline of candidates by actively sourcing in viable tools like Indeed, LinkedIn and others (free and paid) resources
    • Build relationships with hiring managers, company leadership and other TA team members
    • Motivated and a self-starter
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Customer Service attitude
    • Ability to function under pressure
    • Dedication to your craft and a strong work ethic
